A Dancing Angel
Angel is the youngest of seven children, born to a career military man in Southern California. Her travels as a youth, along with her with her own military tour with the United States Marine Corps, have taken her through much of the US and Central American nations over the years.
This exposure to our nation’s military has given her a warm appreciation of the greatly diversified world we live in today and a deep respect and love for the freedoms we experience in this country. Angel has enjoyed an impressive background as a Bay Area singer, actress, model, dancer and MC. Launching "The Music Networking Conference", a premiere annual event held from 1988 through 1993, which gave local artists and song writers a venue to network, meet industry leaders and perform. It was in organizing and producing this event that gave Angel a passion for working with and supporting entertainers with their efforts to build their careers in a challenging industry.
Angel has worked in Silicon Valley in areas of marketing and finance for more than 15 years. In addition to an extensive corporate background in finance and marketing, she has also worked in the private sector as a marketing entrepreneur supporting small businesses, alternative health care professionals and entertainers in the Bay Area since 1992. Primarily focusing on web-site marketing, maintenance and basic design, Angel worked with her partner to produce site content and market practitioners in healing and life changing arts as well as musicians and writers throughout the greater Bay Area and beyond.
As a result of the dot-com decline of the late 90's, Angel evolved from a marketing professional to finance professional. Giving her access to technologies and training in very important concepts of budgeting and business solutions that help an organization achieve and maintain consistent and sustained growth. There were hard lessons brought to an industry of marketing professionals of the dot-com era and Angel values each one of them and has added this knowledge to the tool box of expertise she can bring to your organization or individual goals.
As CEO of Thacker Trade Enterprises and Dance Masters of Belly Dance Producer, Angel has dived fully into her love of music, dance and art. As a singer, actress and model she used dancing in her youth to express her art and maintain her condition, African dance has been a passion since her teenage years which she has used as a method to differentiate her dance and singing styles from her peers. Her interest in Bellydance began as a tool for recovery during a cancer scare as she entered the new millennium. In her recovery, she became obsessed with the joys and freedom the dance released in her. Her first experiences were on video as she was unable to venture out into classes or gyms. Now, as she moves forward in health and good spirits, she strives to find new ways to fuse African and Bellydance into new and exciting ways the express her feelings and these two wondrous dance forms.
